Our Song of the Day is taken from the Owl Service splinter group Greanvine. Child Among the Weeds was written by one of British Folks best songwriters Lal Waterson and the track features on their debut album Mark You That & Noat You Wel.
Bio: Greanvine, which comprises Diana Collier and Steven Collins of the leftfield folk collective The Owl Service, occasionally flanked by fellow Owl Nancy Wallace. They formed Greanvine in 2012 while the Owl Service was on a hiatus, initially for nothing more than the love of the songs they payed. Live shows eventually led to them making some recordings. They liked them and so they made some more. Eventually they had enough for an album.
