After watching The Hand (Rachael Dadd & Will Newsome) and the Dead Rat Orchestra perform last night my Song of the Day is partly inspired by them and many of the fringe artists that feature on FRUK. This is from CWK Joynes & The Restless Dead and the track Inference-Of-The-Cam Shakedown featured on a collaborative 7″ titled 8 Selections & Premonitions From The Tower, Vol. V …reminiscent of The Fugs and Incredible String Band.
It was released earlier this year via The Great Pop Supplement / Bo’Weavil Recordings. Vol 1 was released back in 2010.
As well as featuring C Joynes it also features Phil Tyler: banjo, Pete Um providing Voices, Desecration, Repurposing, Pathologies, Jokes (((Delay Custard))) and Woodcraft Folk: Korg Delta, Philicorda Organ, WEM Copicat And A Sea Breeze.
