Paul Thomas Saunders and Sivu are excited to announce they’re heading to the Highlands of Scotland for a tour in August 2014. They’ll be taking in Inverness, Ullapool, Stornoway and will finish up in Aviemore with a free show at Old Bridge Inn.
Paul Thomas Saunders released his debut album Beautiful Desolation earlier this year to wide critical acclaim, with The Sunday Times declaring the album “captivating. Buy this; it’s sensational” and The Guardian calling it “extraordinary”. Based in Hove, Paul creates dreamy, atmospheric pop music, being hugely influenced by time, space and artists such as Vangelis. Sivu (aka James Page, main image) is originally from St. Ives, near Cambridge, and will be releasing his debut album later this year. His latest single Miracle (Human Error) was premiered by Zane Lowe on Radio 1, and is released on 28th July. He creates affecting, anthemic baroque pop – his track Better Man Than He, shot inside an MRI machine, has gained over half a million views on YouTube and was declared by M.I.A to be her video of the year.
