Tomorrow marks the start of the UK’s biggest Free Folk Festival ‘Leigh Folk Festival’ which runs from 26th – 29th June. Every year they put on one of the greatest line-ups in the country which take place across a number of indoor and outdoor venues in public spaces around Leigh-on-Sea, Essex. As well a line-up to please any folkie they also have dance displays, ceilidhs, a centrepiece procession, workshops, open mic, kids’ activities, film, street theatre, storytelling and plenty more. As always, the Festival will be a FREE and open event with the exception of a handful of ticketed special performances.
