New West Records have revealed a video on the making of Steve Earle’s ‘The Low Highway’ which was released last year. In it he touches on how he grew up experiencing the depression second-hand but is now seeing first hand experience of the suffering and crisis as he travels around the US. One of his more rebellious songs is Burn it Down a song he aimed directly at Walmart. In the video he talks openly about their ill-reputation from what they pay their workers to how they treat female employees.
It also features an interview with violinist and actress Lucia Micarelli with whom he co-wrote Love’s Gonna Blow My Way and After Mardi Gras. Watch it below:
