This year marks our 10th Anniversary for which we have a number plans and big announcements to make. The first is great news – we’re teaming up with Bob Harris on his live session series for which he has just made this special announcement:
Each month Folk Radio UK will be choosing special ‘featured artists’ to come and perform an Under the Apple Tree Session, and the first will be with Otis Gibbs who is over in the UK on tour in July.
WhisperingBobTV presents… Under The Apple Tree sessions are a new live session series aimed at showcasing the best musical talent in a unique location.
You can join ‘Whispering’ Bob Harris as he presents you with stunning live sessions from his very own studio Under The Apple Tree, with some of the world’s best musicians joining him to play beautiful versions of their greatest songs, unique covers, and chat with Bob in special in-depth interviews.
The sessions are uploaded every Tuesday and Friday, and form part of the music YouTube channel WhisperingBobTV. Take a look over there now as they’ve been running a few months now and have built up a very nice collection of sessions to choose from including Blair Dunlop, Brooks Williams, Blue Rose Code and Stephen Kellogg to name just a few. The sessions are beautifully filmed and with the weather warming up there will be some outdoor recordings.
