Shakey Graves – Where A Boy Once Stood

Our Song of the Day is a great live session from that one-man-band from Austin, Texas Alejandro Rose-Garcia better known to us as Shakey Graves. He dresses like he’s a hobo straight out of a John Steinbeck book, an image that’s hard to shake when you see him performing with that battered old suitcase at his feet which he uses as a kick drum. He has a style all of his own which whilst rooted somewhere in American roots and blues is uniquely him. He hooks you in then just lets it roll, the drive he creates with just guitar and well…suitcase, is pretty amazing.
