Hatful of Rain are an incredibly talented bunch of artists who we had the great pleasure of meeting at last year’s Purbeck Folk Festival. As well as combining a musical virtuosity and top-notch songwriting they have an engaging stage presence heightened by their old-style communal singing around one mirophone. They are certainly one of the best British Bluegrass/Old time bands out there today. Here they are performing Way Up On The Hill from their debut album:
Currently based in East Sussex they have a new album out on 26th May called “The Morning Key”. They have a special launch party on 23rd May at the beautiful All Saints Centre in Lewes!
