Our Song of the Day is from Nieves, an alternative pop duo from Glasgow by way of Nottingham. Singer/songwriter Brendan Dafters and musician/producer Herre de Leur met in the summer of 2013 and began writing together.
Their songwriting project evolved into Nieves and the band have now released their debut single ‘Winter’. The song describes the death of a relationship using the changing of seasons as a metaphor.
