Blind Willies are a San Francisco based band who describe their sound as Americana rock. Led by singer/songwriter Alexei Wajchman they began life as a folk duo the roots of which can be clearly heard on the video below for ‘Big City‘ which is taken from their forthcoming album ‘Every Day is Judgment Day‘ (May 31, 2014). The video was filmed in September last year whilst the band were in Amsterdam, NL.
Their larger breadth of influences can be heard on their 2011 release Needle, Feather, and a Rope which features the full band who come from diverse musical backgrounds of rock, jazz, classical, world, and hip-hop. . We’re looking forward to hearing what else Every Day is Judgment Day has in store.
