Henry Priestman – True Believer

I recently touched on the growing importance of house gigs in the UK and how this is becoming an increasingly important lifeline to many folk music artists. Whilst house gigs have been a regular thing in the US for some time (read about Sara Terry’s ‘Folk’ documentary here) they are booming here in the UK.

And right on cue, Henry Priestman has released a new video for ‘True Believer’ which was filmed at the Blackpool home of Phil & Lin Wilde who regularly put on house gigs. The track is also our Song of the Day, watch it below:
