Earlier this month Neil reviewed the new EP from Dead Belgian Grand Jacques in which he revealed that Brooke Sharkey had filled the bi-lingual role left by the departure of vocalist/guitarist Fionnuala Dorrity. The London based singer-songwriter who was raised between France and England fits into the role perfectly.
Well the good news is that Brooke has a new EP ‘I Crossed The Line‘ coming out on 28th May, the title track for which you can hear below. She will be promoting the release with a UK tour and an EP Launch at Wiltons Music Hall, London on 28th May.
Her current band consists of Adam beattie on double bass and backing vocals, a singer/ songwriter in his own right who will also be supporting Brooke on this tour. Also in the band are Leander Lyons (Into the moon) on electric guitar and Barny C Rockford on drums. following her UK dates below she will heading on to France and Italy.
