There’s been some real treasure trove reissues lately, especially from the 70’s underground folk scene. This is a bit of an obscure but nonetheless rewarding and sought after release. Mats Glenngård a Swedish musician (guitar, fiddle) released his solo album Kosterlag in 1972 on the very collectible GUMP label. He is best known for his time with Kebnekaise in which was a member between 1971 and 1978, and returned to the group when it was revived in 2001.
This will be the very first vinyl reissue and as Subliminal Sounds are releasing this as a one time pressing of 600 copies (500 Black vinyl/100 Green Vinyl limited edition) it will no doubt fly out the window. From the original master tapes and with the original artwork, including previously unpublished archival Pictures and liner notes by Reine Fiske. Here’s a small taster of what to expect:
