Fans of Circulus will be pleased to hear that ex-members Joe Woolley, Tali Trow and Pat Kenneally decided to form a band called Lords of Thyme. They have now been joined by folk songstress and Belle of London City Michelle Griffiths and are touring in April to promote their debut single from which Proud Maisre is our Song of the Day. The single was mixed John Wood (Nick Drake, Fairport Convention, Nico, The Incredible String Band).
With a nod towards Pentangle, John Martyn and Mr Fox the band plan to enter the studio after their UK tour, to work on a follow up, for release in the late summer. With such a promising debut single the Lords of Thyme are a band really worth following. Try and catch them on tour, dates below:
