Some of you may recall that in November last year I chose Ups & Downs by Gareth Lee & Annie Baylis as our Song of the Day. As well as calling their performance ‘magical’ I also said that “It also goes without saying that they compliment each other really well and have a great dynamic…and yes, I think they’d make a great duo!” At the time they were more of a band which swamped the magic of these two, something that really only became apparent when they were away from the studio, the results of which spoke loud and clear to us.
Well what do you know, they are now in the studio as a duo recording their first EP titled “Ups & Downs”, set for release in June 2014. Of course I’m over the moon, so to celebrate this our good friends BaylisGray have recorded a very special FRUK session, this is Gareth and Annie performing Susie.
It’s a real pleasure to champion such fine talent, these are a duo you really want to keep an eye on. Watch this space as we’ll be bringing you more news soon.
