I just couldn’t shake William Burroughs ‘Naked Lunch’ out of my head after watching the latest video from D. Charles Speer & The Helix for Wallwalker which features on their new album ‘Doubled Exposure’, which is pitched as their most diverse and exploratory LP of raw country rock yet.
The video was directed by Bradley Sellers who’s most notable work comes from behind the camera on TV shows like Curb Your Enthusiasm, Portlandia, and NBC’s super-natural thriller Grimm. Imagine how it may have turned out if David Cronenberg got his hands on it…maybe not.
