Our Song of the Day is a lovely tune from Grey Reverend which is dedicated to the late great Jack Rose: “A song written for a good friend and a great musician February 16, 1971 – December 5, 2009”.
Jack Rose and I played a lot of shows together in the early part of the 21st century in many different clubs, bars and living rooms around Philadelphia. He was a challenging musical presence and we would spend most of our days discussing our favorite records and blues musicians. I miss those conversations and his company.
