Our Song of the Day is from Seamus Fogarty’s debut release, God Damn You Mountain, which sold-out its initial limited-edition vinyl and CD run in 2012. Lost Map are to re-issue the album as a deluxe edition on 24 February 2014. The track Rita Jack’s Lament is our Song of the Day (which also gets the remix treatment on the bonus disc):
The deluxe edition is a double CD, with the second disc featuring six bonus remixes – one by London experimental string duo Geese (who have performed with James Yorkston and Adem, and recently remixed for Hot Chip, Robert Wyatt and Jon Hopkins) one by The Pictish Trail, and four by Seamus himself.
