It’s hard to believe that husband and wife duo Martin and Kerraleigh Child better known as The August List originally hail from Dorset. Their drawl sounds like it belongs to the American gothic south and whilst they may have been inspired to take that creative leap by The White Stripes what you get is something all the more raw and authentic with just acoustic guitar, voice, harmonica, a bucketful of attitude and charm with no excess of studio polish to be heard…how we like it! The South West’s answer to The Handsome Family!
