For the past few Record Store Days Vanguard have been digging deep into their archive vaults to select a title that gets their special attention. Whilst it’s still a little way off (April 19) it takes Vanguard a while to work their magic on any special re-issue so they have opened up a selection of albums for members of the public to vote on. They will pick the top five with the most votes.
Here’s a very tasty playlist which, if you’re anything like me, will leave you scratching your head on which to vote for and this is just a small selection of those albums. It features the likes of Doc Watson, Skip James, John Fahey, John Hammond, Joan Baez and more.
