Sigur Rós are to make an appearance in the popular HBO series Game of Thrones based on the fantasy novels by George R. R. Martin. According to Entertainment Weekly the band are currently shooting their appearance in Croatia which will be televised in Season 4. Although the role they will play is being kept quiet it is rumoured that they will be playing musicians so not acting skills required. The band are due to start the US leg of their world tour and are touring the UK & Ireland in November (dates below).
