Last year we introduced to you Ali Lacey, better known as Novo Amor (Galician: New Love). He has just released a new video which was beautifully made by Josh Bennett for From Gold which is our Song of the Day. The track features in a new indie drama The Better Man which tells the story of best mates Aaron and Josh as they travel to Wales to attend their childhood friend’s engagement party. Ali told us that things have been going well since we introduced him on Folk Radio UK and he’s been busy writing in the last few months. He hopes to release a new EP at the end of this year which will include From Gold:
