Bristol based singer songwriter George Ezra has been getting out and about this year, as well as playing the BBC Introducing stage at Glastonbury and more intimate festivals such as Knee Deep in Cornwall. He also went trekking around Europe in May travelling alone: “I packed light with just a few changes of clothes, note books, books and of course a guitar. I busked myself silly and met some amazing people. My route went something like: London – Paris – Amsterdam – Copenhagen – Malmö – Berlin – Vienna – Milan – Barcelona – Paris – London”
If this new track Budapest is anything to go to then it did him a world of good:
George is also very excited to announce he will have his debut EP out soon. “The EP that I have recorded will be my first ever official release and I’m honestly so excited for you all to hear what it is that I hear every time I play my songs on my own.
“I worked with a saint that goes by the name of Cam Blackwood, together we have managed to create and record exactly what it was that I was hearing in my head. I see this EP as being a milestone in my journey and a nod at everything that has happened so far.”
George has a number of tour dates in association with Communion as well as some bigger dats with Tom Odell.
