One of the artists I’m looking forward to seeing at this year’s Purbeck Folk Festival which I’ll be previewing later today is Dizraeli & The Small Gods. His debut album Moving In The Dark was released back in March this year. Before this he was making a big impression amongst many as a young man with great ideas and an equally gifted storyteller. One other well known storyteller is the legendary Chris Wood so when these two teamed up together back in 2011 they became a compelling act that complimented each other and surprised many that were initially sceptical of folk merging with hiphop.
Here is a collection of videos from a gig last year at Cecil Sharp House which features Chris & Dizraeli with bassist Nathan Feddo.
