Nancy Elizabeth’s new album, Dancing, was released at the end of May and the Manchester-based multi-instrumentalist is currently preparing for her UK tour which begins in Liverpool on June 20.
This summer, Nancy will appear at Latitude on the BBC Radio 3 Late Junction stage along with labelmates Melt Yourself Down, and also plays at North Yorkshire’s Beacons Festival. An enchanting video for new single, ‘Simon Says Dance’, has just been released using the radically different single version of the song. Watch it below:
The ‘Simon Says Dance’ download is released on June 17th and contains the single and album versions of the track, along with several remixes: an exuberant disco version by Manchester’s Science Girl (formerly of Mighty Mouse, and long before that Chapter And The Verse), an unexpected take by hip hop producer Paul White and a restrained piano-and-cello version by Leaf Label’s own Matthew Bourne.
