The output from Scottish indie label Song, By Toad Records has been very rewarding recently With the Mayday release of Rob St John and The Coven Choir and now Sparrow and the Workshop’s third album Murderopolis being released next week they have a lot to be proud of. Matthew Young who runs the label alongside his popular music blog Song By Toad must look back in wonder at this session he recorded back in 2008:
Fast forward to the present day and May 27th will mark the release of Murderopolis which deleivers an altogether darker streak than previous offerings from Sparrow & The Workshop. Whilst it packs a punch isn’t without it’s dark humour as they demonstrate on their latest video for The Faster You Spin. We’ll have more on the album soon, in the meantime sit back & enjoy:
