Owls of the Swamp whom we introduced back in March is the musical moniker of Australian multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Pete Uhlenbruch. He has just released his luminous new single ‘The Hypnotist’. Recorded in various locations across Europe, the single features special guest Marketa Irglova (the Swell Season) on backing vocals and pianos as well as additional production, mixing and mastering by Sturla Mio Thorisson (Greenhouse Studios, Reykjavik, Iceland).
‘The Hypnotist’ illustrates the tale of a hypnotist and his relationship with a distant lover and marks Uhlenbruch’s first single release since 2011’s Go with River.
The single is now available for free from Bandcamp.
