Eliza Carthy gives fans a rare treat with a podcast to celebrate the forthcoming ‘The Wayward Tour’ on which Eliza and Jim Moray celebrate their respective time in folk music! Eliza has been recording and touring for 21 years. Jim Moray has been recording and touring for 10 years. And they are celebrating with a UK tour in May/June 2013 which they very much hope you will come and see! Featuring a one-off, all-star, thirteen piece band drawn from all eras of their careers and some special guests-including Sam Sweeney (Bellowhead), Barnaby Stradling (Kings of Calicutt, Blowzabella), Saul Rose (Whapweasel, EII, Kings of Calicutt, Waterson:Carthy) and many more…this is a recording of Eliza telling some of the stories behind her material and albums, and playing a selection of songs and tunes from her back catalogue.
