French artist Cécile Schott best known as Colleen whose music we have featured on Folk radio UK returns after a five years with a new album titled The Weighing of the Heart which is to be released through Second Language on May 13th. The album draws heavily on African musical influences as well as artists such as Moondog, Arthur Russell and Bridgette Fonatine. The album features artwork by Italian illustrator Iker Spozio who has also done album artwork for the likes of Adrian Crowley (Long Distance Swimmer) and Hilary Hahn & Hauschka (Silfra). The CD will be the fourth release in the Second Language Library Series that are beautifully presented in book-style packaging.
