This week on the Nest Collective Hour, Jamie Doe presents a selection of folk music from up and coming English songwriters such as Rachael Dadd, Nick Mulvey, Josienne Clark & Ben Walker and many more. The show also features an interview with singer/songwriter and promoter of the wonderful Woodburner folk night, Theo Bard. Broadcast on St Pirrans Day 5 March, Cornwall’s national holiday, the show kicks off with some traditional music from Cornwall and also features an unusual field recording of demonstration songs and chants at a CND march from the early 1980’s – showing the power and innate musicality of the human voice. Enjoy!
