Straw Bear, who take their name from the traditional folkloric Whittlesey Straw Bear festival, grew from a Cambridgeshire duo to an all encompassing five piece. Black Bank is their latest album from which their video for track Kitty was recently released and features below. The band draws on influences from Van Morrison to Kevin Shields, both of whom are name-checked by the eponymous ‘Kitty’ in her journey for creative inspiration.
