How can any one possibly forget the sound of the Moulettes? They put together a fantastic session for us last year at Purbeck Folk Festival (listen again below) and they’ve been working as hard as ever since with a heavy touring schedule. Their London Roundhouse performance has sold out but you can still catch them at Dingwalls on Feb 21st which marks their CD single launch for Uca’s Dance.
They are supporting Crazy World of Arthur Brown during March before kicking off their headline tour and then they’re touring with the Levellers and Seth Lakeman by which point we’re into festival season which will include an appearance at Fairport Convention’s annual Cropredy Festival!
Also in the recent past Seasick Steve has employed violinist Georgina on record and live; bassoonist, Ruth Skipper has recorded with Paul Heaton; and cellist Hannah has contributed to a new album helmed by Adrian McNally of The Unthanks.
