The Nest Collective Hour featuring Sasha Siem in Session

This weeks Nest Collective Hour will provide our listeners with a very special treat. They will be featuring British-Norwegian composer Sasha Siem in session with her string and percussion quartet. She will be starting her Royal Opera House residency on 1st February as well as releasing her debut EP ‘So Polite’. She has been hotly tipped as a name to watch for in 2013 by the Guardian, the Times and Time Out New York.

In a recent interview with the Royal Opera House she quoted Tom Waits, Björk, Andrew Bird and Joanna Newsom as musical influences. Sasha will present a song cycle entitled Most of the Boys in the Linbury Studio Theatre in February (1 February – 2 February 2013). Details and tickets here.
