Annie Dressner left her home of New York City recently to move to the UK where she is becoming a well established name. She has a list of tours dates set for early 2013 (dates below) so don’t miss an opportunity to see her. We’ve recently introduced some new tracks from her album Strangers Who Knew Each Other’s Names which opens to an upbeat ‘fly’ a song that lyrically unmasks an innocence, a trademark of this release. Annie’s sweet and fragile yet relaxed sounding vocals are backed by soaring folk pop melodies that makes her sound all the more endearing, the influences from the likes of Bella and Sebastian are clear but she has a great original edge that shines through, a name to watch for!
