For anyone that as not heard The Civil Wars cover of Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean then watch this live performance…it sounds nothing like the original, they give it that Americana twist of theirs which seems so strangely perfect for this track…for me to say I prefer this to the original would be meaningless, of course it is!
This track and video will be available on itunes on November 13 as part of their “VH1 Unplugged” 7-track EP which also includes their Portishead cover ‘Sour Times’.
