Die Mason Die look set to make a name for themselves following the release of their debut single video for ‘Lost‘. The band’s frontman is 19 year old Samuel Mason, who is Wales born, Australian raised and, as of last year, London based. Now with his band gathered around he has anounced the release of their debut single ‘Lost’ (October 15th) which will be followed by their debut E.P. on November 5th. Watch the video for it below:
The single has a bountiful sound that is comparable to the likes Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. Here’s taster of some earlier material which has an entirely different feel so who knows what the EP may bring:
It was during the second half of 2011 whilst in London that Mason embarked on a six month journey back to Down Under as part of a travel documentary in which himself and eleven others drove a 1970’s double decker bus from London to Sydney. It this journey that inpired the ideas on the forthcoming EP.
