Brooke Sharkey whose EP ‘May‘ we reviewed earlier this year is set to self-release her debut album ‘One Dress‘ on 5th December. Her beautiful vibrato and highly original arrangements leave a lingering sweet taste that lasts way after the the last note fades. There is a powerful mastery at play on this album, way beyond any debut album expectations, the delicate feel of the arrangements flow in unison with her voice creating twists and turns that embody power then fragility, she has incredible control…a classic in the making.
Whilst she can be found regulalry performing in London as well as Sunday busking at Columbia Road Flower Market in East London she will be heading out on tour to mark the release of her debut beginning in France before returning in November for some UK dates as well as her album launch at St Pancras Old Church on 5th December.
