Following the release of her debut acoustic EP at the end of last year singer songwriter Chloe Foy has been attracting more attention as well as booking festival slots and supporting the likes of the award-winning English folk musician Jim Moray who we interviewed at the beginning of 2012 (read the interview here). Whilst her biography quotes the influence of Joni Mitchell, Johnny Flynn and Bon Iver these names crop up far too frequently today to give any real feel of what is on offer. Chloe has distinctive and memorable vocals that deserve limelight and her new single ‘I’ve Got a Feeling‘ which is released on 22nd October will bring her just that. The new single benefits from a fuller sound thanks to additonal musicians and band members; Harry Smith and Roland Palmer. The added string arrangements bring a greater depth to her music and allows Chloe’s voice to shine exposing a whole new depth to this new young talent. She is definitley a name to watch!
Chloe is currently in the studio concentrating on writing and recording for her Debut Album that is set for release early next year.
