God Bless You Amigo is the new release from The Felice Brothers featuring a collection of home recordings made in the spring of 2012. What turned out to be a run of bad luck and misfortune from nearly having their house destroyed by a hurricane, hospitalization and dying amplifiers. The craziness of their situation prompted eventually culminated in, with a little persuasion, 8 traditional folk songs and 12 original songs that they’ve always liked, but never had a chance to put on records.
The proceeds will go towards fixing their plight, it’s only a $5 download, but you can give more if you are feeling philanthropic. The band will be over in the UK in December at Shepherds Bush Empire.
