Brighton based singer/songwriter Jacko Hooper has been gradually building a name for himself across the web thanks to the bountiful supply of live web sessions that artists are able to record today. Balcony TV were very taken by his performance, rating him as one of the best they have had perform for them. Jacko’s influences are primarily from modern circles and include Bon Iver, Glen Hansard, James Vincent McMorrow and Ben Howard.
He released a five-track album back in March titled ‘From Home‘ which features some subtle orchestration over his acoustic guitar play. For me he has a bigger impact when unaccompanied but one track did shine brighter then the rest ‘Lullaby’:
