Watch Rachael Dadd’s new video for the track Tsubomi which is taken from her latest album ‘Bite The Mountain’ (read our review here). As well as featuring input from from fellow Bristol folk artist Rozi Plain the album also received input from, Japanese composer Aki Tsuyuko and experimental Japanese musician (and husband) Ichi.
Rachael has recently been tinkering with a prepared piano using blobs of masking tape, bits of ballon, paper clips and a pot of rice inside the pianos workings to create unique sounds. She plans to perform a few of her discoveries this Friday 22nd at her headlining Folk Union show at King`s Place.
She was recently interviewed by Kings Place during which she gives an insight into her very busy life and influences on her music. Listen to it below:
