The Crooked Fiddle Band hail from Sydney, Australia and are known for their high octane crowd-pleasing performances. They combine tradtional world music including gypsy, klezmer, Scandinavian and British folk and give it all a punk twist. The core of their performance is their frenetic drive and euphoria which translates best on stage. They have played all Australia as well as Europe including Edinburgh Fringe & Trowbridge Village Pump Festival.
Their lastest album ‘Overgrown Tales’ was released in May last year. If the high octane rush is too much for some then make sure you check out their 2008 release ‘Rise’ which is not so fueled up.
