With still more contemporary stars still to be announced the line-up for Cambridge Folk Festival is looking very promising. There are a host of big names appearing with some Folk Radio UK favourites amongst them: Lau (interview here), Fay Hield & The Hurricane Party (interview here), Roy Harper, Benjamin Francis Leftwich, The Staves, ahab, Seth Lakeman, Nic Jones, Karine Polwart, Treacherous Orchestra…to name just a few. Jim Moray’s Silent Ceilidh (interview here) is also in the line-up which I can personally vouch for after seeing him at Halsway Manor a couple of weeks ago for their first Somerfest.
The only thing we need now is sunshine!
