Seamus Fogarty hails from the West of Ireland and has performed with the likes of John Martyn, James Yorkston and Mark Eitzel as well as becoming a regular name on the Fence Collective roster more recently. That very fine man Myles O’Reilly recently put together this music video for ‘The Waterside‘ which we love, goes without saying really!
“I can’t quite describe his music … it’s an ethereal collage of banjo, acoustic guitar, violin, shakers all thrown into a washing machine and cut up with samples and weird noises. But much better than that description”
Johnny Lynch, Fence Records
Seamus Fogarty’s debut album, God Damn You Mountain, is scheduled for release on Fence Records in the Spring of 2012.
