The Lullaby Project is a new project from Leeds based Opera North. Soothing, bitter or even bawdy, there’s much more to the lullaby than sending a child to sleep. They have put together a lovely online collection of lullabies old and new, which features some great performances at the Howard Assembly Room. Included below are a few of our favourites Kris Drever, Alasdair Roberts, Emily Portman, Karine Polwart and John Smith:
