Antirecords unveil another new track from Yann Tiersen‘s new album ‘Skyline‘ due out April 17th! “I’m Gonna Live Anyhow” features some great looping vocals and harmonising.
Skyline is Tiersen seventh studio album which antirecords state is ‘cementing the sound of its darker sister, the critically acclaimed Dust Lane. Says Tiersen, “Strangely while Skyline musically comes across as lighter and happier than Dust Lane the subject matter is somewhat darker – there is certainly a sense of moving on and what thoughts are left having dealt with loss”.
For Tiersen the album is familiar territory but for others? “…it’s only now everyone else is catching up.”
Yann Tiersen has also unveiled a video for his new song “I’m Gonna Live Anyhow.” The video will debut at the Yellow Bird Project along with a T shirt Tiersen designed for the charity Doctor’s Without Borders. The Montreal-based Yellow Bird works with selected musicians such as Bon Iver, Andrew Bird, The National, Tiersen and others to create shirts that benefit charities chosen by the musician.
