Grinderman have given their critically acclaimed 2010 release a new lease of life with the release of Grinderman 2 RMX in the UK last week. The album features a host of new cuts, reinterpretatons and remixes thanks to some collaborations with the likes of U.N.K.L.E, Robert Fripp (King Crimson, David Bowie, Eno), Josh Homme, Matt Berninger of the National, Andy Weatherall, Barry Adamson and Cat’s Eyes. There is also an exclusive previously unreleased remix of “Bellringer Blues” by Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ guitarist Nick Zinner, about which Grinderman enthuse “It shits all over the original!”
