Domino records have unveiled the video to the new Eugene McGuiness single ‘Shotgun’. Like his video to ‘Lion’ it musters the same simple ingredients with no over-embellising or intricate plot required…they didn’t need to…the track alone sells it. His new album is out in June 2012! As is his style there’s little information floating around out there..
It must have been inspired by “Murder Weapon”, a classic dancehall hit from Jamaican-born Echo Minott who also inspired Tricky to do a re-working in 2010:
