Those folk rebels Mawkin are planning to celebrate their 10th anniversary in style this year with the release of a new album titled ‘Crow’ which promises to be a “bold new sound that strengthens their instrumental roots and embraces a new exuberant exploration into the traditional folk canon”. The album will also feature some special guests who have helped them in the past.
For those acquainted with the English folk world these guests should need no introduction: Eliza Carthy will be making an appearance along with Steve Knightley of Show of Hands fame and that Devonian rich bass singer Jim Causley, it promises to be something very special!
The lads have an album release tour planned, so get in there quick!
