Kris Drever is to launch his new CD/EP at Celtic Connections this year, You can hear a track from it below titled ‘Parcel of Rogues’. He will be joined by multi-instrumentalists Éamonn Coyne and Megan Henderson. According to the Celtic Conections programme drummer Calum McIntyre will also be supporting.
Éamonn is best known for his tenor banjo playing and has worked with Kris before (Honk Toot Suite). Megan Henderson plays fiddle and is also a talented piano, accordion player and vocalist, she is a member of the Scottish band Breabach.
Kris recently started recording sessions with some guest musicians on youtube. His latest is with the fabulous Anglo Concertina player Chris Sherburn, it’s great. Watch it below:
